I’m a 43 year old male who just started going to the gym about 3 years ago. I wanted to get back in shape. My goal was to build muscle, loose weight and improve my nutrition. I have been training under Martina since June 2009. She has taught me to maximize my training. Before I was like any other muscle head in the gym. Lift as much as you can as many times as you can. Since working with Martina I learned balance, not only in my workouts but in life. Martina has taught me a lot about nutrition and what my Metabolic Type is. I am a 33year old wife and mother of three children. I started going to the gym in August 2009 hoping to get in shape and lose weight. My husband had some success, so I thought I could also. I was going for about three weeks and I noticed I gained five lbs. which was very frustrating when you are expecting to go the other way. My husband met Martina and hired her to train me for six weeks as an anniversary gift in hopes to help me go in the right direction. I started out at the highest weight I have been post babies at 209 Lbs. I had an injury to my ankle so I thought low cardio would be my way to get started. My train of thought was as long as I worked out, I would lose weight. My confidence level was at it’s all time low. I started my training with Martina out of breath and with the thought that I couldn’t possibly go any further. She showed me anything is possible and that I can and will succeed. I finished my six weeks of training stronger, more confident (standing taller) and more aware of my health and well being. My foot pain is much less noticeable and as my husband says I walk more athletically (if that is possible). I learned that I need to focus on me and put all the stress behind me. (that stress can kill you alone) She showed me how to eat cleaner, more healthy and what is best for my body with the right combinations together to make a difference in my attitude, emotions and hunger levels so that you are content and will not over eat. I also left her training five total inches throughout my body. I have since then dropped two pant sizes and making my way to the third. I have also lost  a total of 15lbs which has given me the extra boost to keep on going. Her training consisted of my weight being my resistance. This is better than any machine ever made. I can put her training exercises together at the gym or at home and still feel like I have accomplished something for the day. I have continued my training even after working with Martina with a program she has given me to work my entire body and to build on. If you are looking to better yourself be it your confidence level, your eating habits or your health in general, Martina is definitely the one to help you there. I am excited to get my goal weight. With her training and ongoing support I will get there.
